In the end of this week on the next tests the prototype of new generation of minivan Opel Meriva, dressed in a red-black camouflage has left. Under a protective coverlet journalists managed to make out some details of an ex-terrier of the future car.
In particular, in pictures rear headlights of model which did not begin to close this time, head optics and outlines lattices are distinctly enough visible. But in Opel till now keep a secret system of rear doors FlexDoor which has been shown for the first time last year in Geneva. Instead of new system on a prototype while have installed usual doors. According to some information, the car is constructed on platform Corsa. It is supposed, that new Opel Meriva it will be completed small on volume with petrol and diesel motors. Probably, the novelty will receive also hybrid installation.
As the basic competitors of the car will act Nissan Note, Honda Jazz, Citroen C3 Picasso and Skoda Roomster. The debut of the serial version of novelty Opel Meriva, writes WCF, it is expected in the autumn of this year on the international motor show in Frankfurt.
